Student Council will meet on Wednesday, 2/10 in the old science lab to prepare carnations for the Valentines sale. Plan to stay until 4:30pm.
 
Carnations will be sold on Thursday, 2/11, in the gym before school. For $1.00 you will get a long stemmed red carnation, wrapped and tied with a red ribbon. You will also get a free card to attach.

OCMS TALENT SHOW

The annual Talent Show will be held on 2/23 at 7:00pm in the gym. If you would like to be a participant you must audition on 2/8 and 2/9 this coming Monday and Tuesday. Audition times are either in the morning starting at 7:30am or in the afternoon after 2nd load. The afternoon auditions will be ending at 5:30pm. All auditions will be held in the Chorus room. Please make sure you have your rides ready to drop you off or pick you up accordingly. Sign-ups for an audition slot are on Ms. Scott’s door in the Music Suite.

FFA

All FFA members are invited to be in the official chapter picture on Tuesday, 2/9, during homeroom. Please bring your jackets if you own one to the Brick Atrium as soon as your let your homeroom teacher know that you are present.
 
FFA members that will be working with the Rotary Club today, Friday, 2/5, please remember to stay after school.
 
There will be practice Monday morning, 2/8, for Nursery Landscape and Monday afternoon, 2/8, for Poultry and Floriculture.

Track

All students interested in track need to have a current physical on file with the front office.  Tryouts will be held on February 17th or 18th.

HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADING

Attention 8th graders: If you are interested in trying out for high school cheerleading, there will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, 2/10 at 6:00pm in the OCHS cafeteria. All tryouts and program details will be discussed at this meeting.

Service Project

Justin Dutton is a living example of our Tails of Hope Service Project.  He saw someone dump 3 puppies and rescued them. Not only did he rescue them, he and his grandmother are adopting them. Way to go, Justin!

BOYS SOCCER

Any current 7th or 8th grade boys interested in trying out for soccer must be eligible and have a current physical on file. Tryouts will be Monday – Wednesday, 2/8-10, from 4:00 to 5:30pm. Please see Coach Poole if you are interested in playing.
