The Warriors fought valiantly against youth, catastrophic injuries, and growing pains to finish the 2006 campaign at 4-6, narrowly missing the state playoffs and finishing 5th in 8-AAA. Although the results were not what the Warriors had hoped for, a mix of tough nosed seniors and energetic/hardworking underclassmen helped the Warriors overcome a lot of adversity and play with pride. Oconee County football will return 31 lettermen to next years' squad and the future looks bright. Thanks to all the Seniors and good luck in all your future endeavors.
