We will also announce the "ice cream social" date for suit fitting, team orders, volunteer sign up.
So, swimmers and divers, all levels (and JV/middle school students)--and anyone who potentially would like to be a WATER WARRIOR...come to this meeting! BRING A FRIEND!!! Coach Michelle Bond and Coach Madelyne Stephens (both OCMS teachers) will be there to answer all your questions! *Parents are also invited to attend to get information as well. See you on the 9th---and then...at the pool!

Two high school juniors and two seniors from the state of Georgia will be selected for the intensive week-long educational United States Senate Youth Program. This program will take place in Washington, D.C. on March 7 -14, 2015. For complete details, please visit http://www.hearstfdn.org/ussyp/. Mr. John Barnette will be acting assistant principal at Oconee County High School while Brian Dietz is away during a short leave of absence.
Mr. Barnette, a long time educator, coach and administrator here in Oconee County already knows many of the students and families at OCHS and appreciates working with our students.
He has served as interim administrator at OCMS and NOHS during his three years in retirement and is proud to have been asked. Mr Barnette enjoys working with the students he has seen grow up, and helping them "find their way" in his role as an educator. "I can't tell you what it means to continue to serve [Oconee County Schools]."
Seniors can select their senior pose for the yearbook by going to www.shop.prestigeportraits.com or calling 1-800-736-4775. You will need your session ID and access code given to you at the sitting.
