UGA MATH CAMP

The camp will run from June 17 to 21. Camp activities will run from 9am to 3:30pm Monday through Thursday and from 9am to 4:00pm on Friday, however, there will be camp staff on site in the math department from 8am to 6pm, and the participants are welcome to stay during this time.

Participants will need to pack their own lunches, but snacks will be provided. We'll collect $20 per participant to cover the cost of snacks (the only expense not covered by grant funds).

During the week, the participating students will be working in small groups on focused topics alongside both undergraduate and graduate students, and coordinated by faculty members. Besides their main focus area during the week, the students will also be introduced to a variety of topics during a series of lectures and activities each morning, possibly including mathematical biology, robotics, number theory, geometry and topology.

ATTENTION STUDENTS

The ACT and SAT admittance policies have drastically changed and you must be aware of these new policies before reporting for the tests. All testers must have an admission ticket reflecting the exact testing date with all correct personal information AND an acceptable photo id in order to test. New policies also will require you to upload a front facing photo of yourself along with your application for testing. Many other changes have also been made so please carefully read over the new policies and requirements before reporting.  You will not be allowed to test if the procedures are not followed as specifically stated by the new ACT and SAT regulations.
