Middle School Mania is scheduled for Friday, May 9, 2014 at North Oconee High School. This is an event designed to bring middle school students from both of the Oconee County middle schools together for an evening of fun and friendly competitions. Please consider signing up to chair a committee for this event, or you can let us know if you are interested in helping out the night of. Descriptions of each committee chair's (or co-chair's) are provided in the link below. Come join the fun and help make this year's event a fun, safe, community event for Oconee County middle school students.
Please read the job descriptions provided in the link below and indicate your interest in chairing a committee or helping out at the event. Each committee needs at least one chair, but two chairs per committee works great, too!
Relay for Life is on its way!
Sponge Bob and MBMS “Wanna Sea Cancer Go Under” this year!
Join our MBMS Team at the NOHS Football Stadium Friday night
May 2nd. Did you know that George Johnson, one of our own
6th graders here at MBMS, is currently battling cancer?
We want to show our support for him and for others
in their quest to beat this terrible disease.
We encourage cancer survivors to complete one of these
Survivor Forms and join other survivors that night
at the Hospitality area prior to the event.
Until that evening, we have several opportunities
to help raise money to “Sea Cancer Go Under.”
Two ongoing opportunities include Luminarias and MBMS team T-shirts.
Click here --> Luminaria Form Or here --> T-Shirt Order Form
to download the forms needed or you may get one in the front office.
During each grade level Relay for Life Pep Rally (more details to come!),
those who purchase a luminaria can join our luminaria decorating party.
T-shirts are available to purchase beginning Monday, March 24th.
The T-shirt Form will be sent home with progress reports on Friday, March 21st, but more copies are available online and in our front office.
Order forms are due by April 4th.
Several other opportunities will be provided,
so check this site frequently to learn how you can help.
