Thank you for your interest in employment with Oconee County Schools (OCS). Oconee County is located eight miles from Athens and the University of Georgia. The county is nationally renowned and considered both a rural and suburban community. Our school system has six elementary schools, two middle schools, and two high schools. The system employs approximately 1,000 teachers, administrators, and support personnel, and has over 6,700 students enrolled.

Our primary personnel goal is to hire outstanding educators and support staff for our students. We focus on recruiting, supporting and retaining highly qualified and effective teachers, school leaders, and other support personnel who join us. Oconee County Schools accepts applications on a continual basis for all positions, and we welcome your interest in employment.
